Round Square visits 秀色直播church Hebrew Centre

Fifteen College boys, all members of the Round Square Committee, took a look inside the impressive 秀色直播church Hebrew Centre last week, and learnt a lot about Judaism from Old Boy Asher Etherington.
The visit, organised by Claude Tellick as part of the Round Square committee鈥檚 aim to celebrate the diversity of cultures and beliefs in 秀色直播church, included Chaplain Bosco Peters, International Manager Paul McCarthy, and Round Square representative for 秀色直播鈥檚 College Rob Donaldson.
In the hour he spent with the group Asher Etherington shared some fascinating information about Judaism, worship in the synagogue, and the Jewish community in New Zealand. The boys saw the synagogue鈥檚 Torah, a hand-inscribed goatskin scroll of the first five books of the Old Testament, and were impressed by the beauty of the building.
