Six of College鈥檚 promising performers will be centre stage at the new Court Theatre, bringing The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition to life at the stunning central city site.

Running from 1鈥�13 July, The SpongeBob Musical invites the audience to dive into an 鈥榓ll-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show鈥� based on the animated series. An uplifting, energetic tale of friendship and staying positive, the musical features cartoon standouts SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, Squidward, and Electric Skate, with 秀色直播鈥檚 College students 鈥� from Years 9鈥�13 鈥� starring in both casts.

Year 12 Julius House student Charlie Wood says The SpongeBob Musical 鈥減romises to be a fantastic adventure, packed with music and laughter鈥�.

鈥淚t features six incredible boys from College, and will open in the shiny new Court Theatre building. I can鈥檛 wait to share the magic and joy of this crazy show with everyone.鈥�

For Year 11 Corfe House student Cole Moffatt, 鈥渂ringing the exuberant character of SpongeBob SquarePants to life is a dream鈥�.

鈥淭he songs are brilliant and the sheer joy of the show will captivate everyone,鈥� he believes. 鈥淭he whole show bubbles with excitement.鈥�

Year 12 Condell鈥檚 House student Bill Cross says it is his 鈥渇irst crack at a main role in a musical and my first show with The Court Theatre, so I鈥檓 thrilled to be playing the role of Patrick Star in an amazing musical鈥�.

Year 9 student Basil Clarkson (Somes), who takes on the role of Electric Skate, is 鈥渆xcited to be performing on a brand new stage with some of my favourite people鈥� while both Year 12 student Oscar Stove (Jacobs) and Year 13 student Alex Johnston (Somes) are looking forward to playing the aptly named octopus Squidward.

鈥淚 am very excited to be a part of this wonderful musical and I am especially enthusiastic about being in one of the first shows in The Court Theatre鈥檚 new venue,鈥� Oscar adds. 鈥淲e are both looking forward to bringing this vivacious character to life.鈥�
